Thank you to everyone who donated their time and resources to help us meet our initial fundraising goal!  We are set to begin work on phase one of our sidewalk this spring. Please come to our Community Meeting! We want your input!

Amsterdam-Churchill Community Planning Group (ACCPG)

ACCPG is an organization committed to planning and building healthy, livable, and thriving neighborhoods in Amsterdam and Churchill, Montana.

Project Community Sidewalk

Project Community Sidewalk is the first phase of a larger improvement plan to make our community more walkable, safe, and healthy. We are working to build a 1,680 foot sidewalk along Montana Highway 288 where it cuts through the core of Churchill.

Community Benefits

Our proposed sidewalk will extend an existing sidewalk to provide:

1. •A designated path for children to go to and from school without walking on a state highway,
   

2. •A safe place for children to wait for Amsterdam and Manhattan Public school buses,
   

3. •A way for area residents to safely move through their community en route to businesses, churches, and public facilities,
   

4. •A safer route for recreational walkers, bikers, and runners, and
   

5. •An improvement to property values within the community.
